Welcome To My Website
In my early years I worked in traditional media, painting, and sculpture. But when I returned to college in my 40’s I found that digital art was offered. My Bachelor’s degree is in Art and Technology. I attended a low residency grad school program, earning an MFA with a focus on video art, digital photography, and cultural theory. I taught at Cal State San Marcos until 2012.
I now satisfy my creative drive through photography and writing. And through it all, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a rewarding career as a hairdesigner.
Moments . . . . . . . . Captured, Remembered, & Shared
When I travel, thanks to digital technology, I take thousands of photos. Many are snapshots to remind me of where I was. Some serve to share my experiences with friends and family. Others record special moments with fellow travelers and strangers met along the way. And when circumstances allow, I’ve been fortunate to capture a few special images that beg to be printed and framed. I favor those that evoke an emotional response, raise questions, are dramatic, or provide a sense of mystery.
